lyrics

I start to feel my limbs are turning
becoming slowly
disintegrating in the shape and size of grains of sand

the matter in my brain detaching
forward expanding
finally unified with everything

I'll never know
the most of our world

but I will more than just be
a part of it i'll be unity

my eyes will see the depths of the sea
my heart will burn relentlessly
I won't be forced to dwell a single portion of space and time
by annihilating my own self
I will turn into something else
It will be clear that we won't fear
the entry in the forever

My ashes will feed the seed
of life that tomorrow will be
you and I
are energy

I am full of fear
fast galloping the breath
my heart is pumping hard
I can feel it in the chest

Am I seeing clear?
I need my head to rest
everything is faded
I feel like I am falling

why am I full of fear?
cold sweat on my face
as a flooded torrent
runs the blood inside my veins

What is happening here?
now i don't feel the same
my body is opposing using all of its strength

Grasping for another breath
the horizon of my future extends
only to the next beat of the heart

Every second I have left
I understand the fact that we're born
just to try not to die

Deep my nails
down in the ground
to hold me as the
inevitable
comes

I
I want to taste
my last
sensation

I'll never know something else

about

Veins Rome, Italy

We are Veins.
We are a metal band from Rome, Italy.
Our upcoming album
"INNOCENCE" was inspired by the recent turmoils in the middle east, a place where the youth was forced to abandon the precious time of adolescence and was driven to fight to restore an uncertain future.
In its 9 song length, the album gives space also to other lyrical themes, as reflections upon death, life and how we live it.
